Data Entry & CRM Migration Assistant (Temp)

Pay rate: £13.45 per hour
Location: Harlow, Essex (free onsite parking or 1 hour bus direct from Chelmsford campus)
Hours: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Term: Temp (3–4 days)
Start date: Immediate (TOMORROW or Monday)

Our client is a growing, creative branding and merchandise business who works with a wide range of clients to deliver high-quality branded products and promotional solutions. With a strong focus on detail, efficiency, and innovation, they are currently undertaking an important system upgrade to improve how their product catalogue is managed and maintained.

The role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented temp worker to support a short-term data migration project. This role will involve transferring a full catalogue of products into a new CRM system (Odoo), ensuring all information is accurately recorded, well-structured, and consistent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking for immediate, short-term work and hands-on experience with CRM systems and data management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Accurately transfer product data into the Odoo CRM system
  • Input and organise product information including descriptions, pricing, SKUs, and specifications
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across all uploaded records
  • Review and verify data to minimise errors
  • Maintain clear organisation of product categories and listings
  • Liaise with the team on-site to clarify product details where needed
Person spec
ESSENTIAL
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using spreadsheets and systems
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently within a short timeframe
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Reliable and available to start immediately
  • Able to access the Harlow based office every day
DESIRABLE
  • Experience with data entry or product uploads
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (particularly Odoo)
  • Previous experience in an administrative, retail, or e-commerce setting
